Inspiriting and Dedication Ceremony of Our New Temple II

In November, we will mark a milestone in the ongoing enhancement of Oyasono with an inspiriting and dedication ceremony for our new Temple II. The structure was originally dedicated in 1979, when Master Shinjo officiated at the inspiriting of Bodhisattva Eleven-Faced Kannon, making Oyasono home to all emanations of buddhahood that comprise the three-wheel bodies.

“Enhancement” is practiced in spiritual traditions around the world. It refers to the act of enhancing a religious training ground or sacred space to make it truly sublime, so that those who visit will be inspired to engage in acts that express their faith and practice.
