Vesak Day & Open House

On Monday, we celebrated Vesak day to commemorate the birth, enlightenment and passing into Nirvana of the Buddha. Families and friends came together to participate in the sweet tea offering to the newborn Buddha. Prayer sessions also included chanting, guided meditation, and various sharing sessions on Shinnyo Buddhism. The children also enjoyed a range of fun and engaging activities.
@sgredcross was also present to create awareness & raise funds for their Grateful Hearts Day initiative, which provides essential humanitarian services for the vulnerable communities in Singapore, including those with severe disabilities, the elderly, children, and families in need.
