Date: 22 March 2015 (Sunday)
Venue: Shinnyo-en Singapore
Brief service explanation: Higan means “the other shore” and refers to the land of the enlightened, in contrast to this shore that is full of human delusions. As Buddhists we are encouraged to practise the Six Bodhisattva Practices to reach the other shore of enlightenment. The service will bring those of us in this world and the ancestral and other spirits in the spiritual world to experience spiritual peace and happiness in oneness with the buddhas. We will also pray sincerely for victims in various disasters.
